Fire Season Closures are being terminated October 24, 2026, at 12:01am.
Please be mindful with your burning. They are being allowed but you are still responsible as the one igniting them. Be aware of the burning conditions and use caution still. Larger or industrial slash piles are not being allowed as yet. Conditions can still produce prime burning conditions throughout part of the day.

As a reminder: November 7th at the Crescent Transfer Station and Chemult landfill it’s the free yard debris dump day. If you would rather haul your debris off instead of burning, we encourage you to participate in this one-day event.
