Fire Season Closures Begin June 2, 2025
Walker Range Fire Patrol – Northern Klamath and Lake Counties
Effective 12:01 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025, debris burning and the use of burn barrels will be prohibited on lands protected by Walker Range Fire Patrol due to the start of fire season.
In addition, firewood cutting will be suspended on the Gilchrist State Forest and Shanda Timberlands until fire season restrictions are lifted in fall 2025.
